The staff is beyond amazing !!!!!! I am 33 years old and still hate going to the doctor. Since I found this spot I love coming in; the ladies are always so nice. I will come her from now on. Love, Love, Love Kristin & Nichole (they are my favorites).

I have been Gail Beavers’ patient for about 5 years and she has made me feel very comfortable during every visit. I am not a number or a person who means nothing to her. She is real and caring. She has been there for my mother-in-law, my friend, my husband, and I. I always pray that she does not ever stop seeing us. I would be lost without her. She is very knowledgeable and helps me understand why I am ill or having problems. I love her staff. All are very nice, caring and try to make you comfortable. I trust her with my life and that of my family members. I will have no problem continuing to refer her, as I have already done so throughout the years.

It has always been a pleasure to come to your office whether we are sick or just getting shots! Your office is special: great sayings on the walls, decorations very beautifully done, and terrific employees who always care. Thank you so much for the Christmas tree. It is sitting on the bar and looks very nice.

common questions

Patients who do not show up for their appointment will be charged with a $25 no show fee. Patients should cancel 24 hours in advance of their appointment for no penalty.

You may be subject to reschedule appointment depending on availability of provider at time of arrival.

An “office visit” is an appointment time to discuss new or existing problems. The questions and exam will focus on the problems discussed. This may include prescribing medications, ordering additional tests such as labs or x-ray, in-office procedures like EKG’s, referrals to specialists, or discussing other treatment options.

A “physical” or “preventive health exam” is a review of your general well-being. The clinician will review your medical problems, perform a complete physical examination and make recommendations concerning your health. This may include general recommendations regarding diet and exercise, age-appropriate immunizations, and cancer screening exams such as pap smears, prostate exams, breast exams and/or screening lab work.

Your provider may see you for both a physical and an office visit on the same day. This means that you satisfy the requirements for both types of visits during one appointment. For example: you schedule a physical but, during that visit, you also discuss an additional problem that requires evaluation and/or treatment.

This is a HEALTH INSURANCE DECISION that determines if a medical procedure, treatment, prescription, or durable medical equipment is medically necessary. It is a cost-control process that requires providers to get approval from your health insurance before performing a service.

Prior authorization is not a guarantee that your insurance will cover the cost. However, it is important to know ahead of time if your insurance will pay for a service so that you are not surprised by out-of-pocket bills.

Prior authorization may be required for:

  • Treatments with lower-cost alternatives that are equally effective.
  • Treatments or medications that should only be used for certain health conditions.
  • Treatments or medications that are often misused.

Depending on the complexity of the request, the level of manual work involved, and the requirements stipulated by your insurance, a prior authorization can take anywhere from one day to a month or more to process.
